The Estates at Wooded Cove homeowners association normally schedules a community garage sale once each year.
The EWC Neighborhood Garage Sale is October 14th and 15th, 2011!
The benefits of a community sale are:
- Multiple sales within the neighborhood draw more shoppers
- Better publicity, including a posting in the Dallas Morning News
- Free yard sign loans for each resident provided by the HOA
- Higher degree of safety, since all association members are aware that shoppers will be cruising the neighborhood on the scheduled weekend
Individual garage sales are highly discouraged.
Advanced notice of each annual sale will be provided. Those families interested in participating will need to:
- Request a permit from the City of Plano at (a city requirement)
- Notify the HOA Board member in charge
- Request a sign so that you can place it in your yard for the sale weekend
